PubGal86 is a celebration of pubs in the UK.

While the history of Public Houses stretches back a couple of thousand years, I’ve been frequenting them for just a couple of decades. But in that time I’ve been to my fair share of great pubs, acceptable pubs and downright naff pubs.

This blog will track old favourites, forgotten gems and new finds as I sniff out the best pubs, the proper boozers with bags of personality.

And, of course, beer. And wine. And anything else that looks good as I stand at a bar (post COVID restrictions, of course) and get tempted by whatever is on tap that day.
